10. Excuses and Gossiping - 11 MORE Things Poor People Do That the Rich Avoid

Lou Brown

Oct 02 2020

Successful people pay attention to life. They don't make excuses.
If they are late or are not able to do something, they will own it and learn from it; but they don't use anything as an excuse. Give up making excuses. Embrace the fact that something might happen and share that with other people.
Instead of gossiping, talk to them and ask questions from people who are successful.

And also, gossiping takes a lot of time and effort. It tries to take power out of another person. This is not healthy. It is one of the worst things you can do. If someone is above you, you want to elevate up there, not pull them down. Instead of gossiping, talk to them and ask questions from people who are successful.

There are things poor people do, and things wealthy people do, that are opposites. After all the years that I've had the chance to interview and work with poor and wealthy people, I've noticed some patterns. In this episode, Lou Brown discusses 11 more areas we've found that poor people do things differently than the rich.

Lou Brown has been buying, selling and holding property for 40 years and you are about to discover what a lot of so called gurus are missing.
* How to buy all the property you want without ever visiting a single bank or needing to qualify for a loan…
* How to have a buyer or renter before you even buy property…
* How to have them already pay you money before you sold them anything…
These are exactly the kinds of deals he does day in and day out. Most 'investors' are getting it wrong. It's not about the property, it's about the buyer. Buying right and buying cheap is what you'll do after you have the buyer.

9. Spending money - 11 MORE Things Poor People Do That the Rich Avoid

Lou Brown

Oct 01 2020

Another thing Lou Brown sees people do is instant gratification. Poor people see something and buy that immediately.
Rich people are careful about how to spend their money. When they have a big chunk of money, that's when they spend on what they want.
What's good to do is get by with as little as possible until investments eventually take over the income of the household.
Spend money, wisely.

8. Using credit cards - 11 MORE Things Poor People Do That the Rich Avoid

Lou Brown

Oct 01 2020

One of the things Lou Brown teaches is that he has never been to the bank, he has never qualified for a loan for a single or multi-family property. This is because he learned to borrow money from nice people who want to see their money be invested.
Lou learned this early in his career because he started when he was 18 years old.

Saving money is a big deal. This is something poor people often don't do.

It can become the foundation for building a solid business.
Saving money is a good thing if you have the opportunity to do so.

6. Do the math - 11 MORE Things Poor People Do That the Rich Avoid

Lou Brown

Sep 30 2020

One of the lessons that a lot of people don't do is the math. Doing the math is very important.
People can jump into an endeavor with an idea of what they can make but they don't actually crunch the numbers.
This can be dangerous. So always do the math and understand the numbers first.

Having been brought up poor, Lou Brown's mother got up and get to work. There are no government programs or handouts. They work to make money and buy groceries.
This is why Lou doesn't believe he is entitled to ANYTHING. God put everyone on this planet to learn and create. And this is all available for everyone.

3. Limiting beliefs - 11 MORE Things Poor People Do That the Rich Avoid

Lou Brown

Sep 28 2020

Poor people do that rich people don't are limiting beliefs. This means there is only a certain level or limiting belief that they look at.
For example, if you believe that you can only make $50,000 a year, then that's all you are ever going to get.
Remove the limit and shoot for the sky.

1. Intuition - 11 MORE Things Poor People Do That the Rich Avoid

Lou Brown

Sep 27 2020

Intuition is a wonderful thing. Lou believes this is a skill that can be developed. Listen to yourself because there is an inner voice in there which can help you make better decisions.
Listen to people who are authentic, not those who talk but you know they are lying but you want what they are saying to be true.
In time, you can develop your intuition.
